Good location. Excellent entertainment. Friendly staff. Great for families with young kids.
Food was boring, repetitive and disappointing. Not 4* rating. Very limited menu, especially for vegetarians. Booked 1 Bed apartment but placed in a studio for first night.Reception staff did not acknowledge this mistake. Hot plate not working in apartment.

Our 11 year old daughter never wanted to leave the hotel at all!!!!owing to the great nightly entertainment which was superb. As a family we really enjoyed our hotel facilities especially the indoor pool and games room.
I felt our 14 year old son was a little bored with the hotel entertainment as it was more geared for a younger group-no complaint you can't please everyone!!!One thing i would like to point out that annoyed me during our weeks stay was the fact that there was only 4 clean towels at any one stage and i had to resort to stalking the maid around and asking for 4 more so as we each had two clean towels for our shower which is no big expectation on my behalf.
We really enjoyed Sea-Life and we walked into the Marina on a few occasions and generally travelled around. However the Marina is a much longer walk than we expected and the kids would not be willing to walk back. The resort is really a lovely place and we will definitely return and we would stay again in the Benalmedena Palace.

staff very friendly and helpful, monarch lost my case and the lovely guys on reception would phone numerous times to chase it up, also the lifeguard was lovely and helpful when my son hurt his foot (hurt it at the beach not the hotel)
we had a room above reception and it was very noisy, buses coming dropping people off etc very steep hill..not suitable for anyone over 50..my mum and dad struggled to get up the hill, well it was more like 2 steep hills
beach across the road

restaurant
Our two apparments were a nightmare: both were located above a large generator making noise whole day and night and blowing air to our balcony, both rooms were at the shadow side without any sunlight and just above the entrance with a lot of hotel traffic. We rented for 2 weeks but the management couldn't give us different rooms because 'they were completely full' while every day a lot of guests were departing and arriving...this wasn't what we expected for our 2000 €, never again.
