Fantastic aspect,(especially when bedroom opens to sea side of building) Parking Close to "OldTown" Albufaire. Pleasant, helpful personnel Excellent layout of aparttment Quiet at night provided bedroom opens on outer wall, not internally
When apt bedroom window opens on corridor it impacts on quality of experience.( our experience last year) Bathroom in urgent need of refurbishment
Albufaire "Old Town" five minute walk. Excellent public transport close by. Free parking Superb drives into hills and further afield.

despite the small gripes with Almar we would recommend it and will book it again in future.
fantastic view from room. Staff friendly and helpful. great pool.
Room outdated. urgent need of a refit especially the bathroom. fresh decor needed. not value for this reason alone
eat, drink, shop. handy for most things. steep walk down to beach but don't let that put you off.

We had a studio and it was really spacious and airy, clean and well fitted out... and a bargain (booked via easyjet)...Sunny balcony overlooking the side garden, the Alamar is well located with good views from the pool and main garden areas across the town to the sea. We wanted a warm,economic and relaxing break and got it at the Almar. Would certainly return again in spring or autumn.
Just a couple of (for us) minor irritants. The microwave oven didn't work and neither did the hot water tap of the bathroom basin! The basin tap was fixed after 4 days and the microwave never was repaired or replaced (as promised) despite both probs being reported/mentioned 3 different times.
Well located for 15' walks into cenral/old town Albuferia and close to local and regional bus stops.

This hotel has a great location, a short (steep) walk from Albufeira Old Town. It is situated in a local residential area, with local amenities on hand. The one bedroom apartment was extremely roomy and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The hotel grounds are pleasant and very secure. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel facilites offer everything needed for a standard holiday.
The hotel is a little dated and not a good choice for anyone seeking modern luxury.

esta en una zona que tienes todo cerca pubs,discotecas,restaurantes.la vista al mar es preciosa.
My answer on the food is invalid because we didn't eat at the hotel. I stayed at Almar for 4 days with my son and daughter. We had a marvelous time. There were no young partying people making noise there. Only families and grown people with a grown behavior. All over, a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Especially with the beach so close and the wonderful view. The people working at the hotel were professional and serviceminded. All three uf us agreed that we would like to come back some time.
There was not enough kitchen utensils for cooking. Especially a brush for washing the dishes would have been nice. The refrigerator could have been a little bit cooler. The bathtub was worn down and could have been replaced.
