Sedona is a city in the state of Arizona, in the United States.
It is surrounded by an impressive red sandstone landscape, known as the Red Rocks of Sedona. These rocks are much visited by tourists from all over the world and admired for their bright shades of orange and pink when lit up by the setting or rising sun.
Some of the popular places to see in the Red Rocks are those that seem to look like familiar objects. Examples are the Coffeepot Rock, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Chimney Rock, Courthouse Butte, the Mittens, the Cow Pies and Rabbit Ears.
The city of Sedona holds many popular celebrations and festivals, such as the International Cinema Festival, the Marathon, the Jazz on the Rocks festival and the Skatefest.
The surroundings of Sedona are breathtaking, especially the Coconino National Forest. There are many things to do: excursions, horse riding and 4x4 drives along steep paths, getting close to nature.
