Canyonlands and Arches National Parks are located near Moab, Utah. This area is famous for the sandstone arches, and one of the most impressive is Landscape Arch, which has an 89 metre opening. The area is also famous for biking, and many mountain bikers come to cycle on Slickrock Trail. Among Arches National Park's main attractions are the Park Avenue and Courthouse towers, as well as Double Arch and Cove Arch and the Balanced Rock formation. The park's most popular arch is Delicate Arch which has been taken as the symbol of the state.
The Canyonlands National Park is situated on the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Here you can see a great many rocky formations with a splendid variety of colours. The park is home to uncountable arches, canyons, spirals and many other startling landscapes.
